![]() ![]() For this aim, we generated a genetic system in Drosophila, in which we rescued the lethal phenotype of the null mutation of the Actin5C gene with transgenes that express different derivatives of actin, including a Nuclear Export Signal (NES)-tagged isoform which ensures forced nuclear export of the protein. In our work, we tested the robustness of the nuclear import of actin, and investigated whether the perturbations of nuclear localization affect the viability of the whole organism. However, today only a single nuclear import and a single nuclear export pathway is known which maintain the dynamic balance between cytoplasmic and nuclear actin pools. Based on its manifold tasks in the nucleus, it is a reasonable assumption that the nuclear presence of actin is essential for the cell, and consequently, its nuclear localization is ensured by a robust system. 5Department of Molecular Cell Physiology, Institute of Physiology and Pathophysiology, Philipps-University, Marburg, GermanyĪctin, as an ancient and fundamental protein, participates in various cytoplasmic as well as nuclear functions in eukaryotic cells.4Brain Research Institute, University of Zürich, Zürich, Switzerland.3Biological Research Centre, Institute of Biochemistry, MTA SZBK Lendület Laboratory of Cell Cycle Regulation, Eötvös Loránd Research Network (ELKH), Szeged, Hungary.2Doctoral School of Multidisciplinary Medical Science, University of Szeged, Szeged, Hungary.1Eötvös Loránd Research Network (ELKH), Biological Research Centre, Szeged, Hungary. It's sad because Shadow Dragon sold about the same volume in Japan and Americas.Péter Borkúti 1,2, Ildikó Kristó 1, Anikó Szabó 1, Csaba Bajusz 1 †, Zoltán Kovács 1,2, Zsuzsánna Réthi-Nagy 3, Zoltán Lipinszki 3, Tamás Lukácsovich 4, Sven Bogdan 5 and Péter Vilmos 1* That said and done, do you think the second DS remake (New Mystery of the Emblem) will ever be localized outside of Japan? It feels gloomy to me since the game is over a year old in Japan now, and Nintendo probably wants to promote the 3DS. I thought I knew everything about Fire Emblem. That may be it, and you are right, thanks for clarifying. Maybe that's what is confusing you, because in the timeline Blazing Sword takes place before Sword of Seals, but the former game was actually released after SoS. The main character of Sword of Seals is Roy who is the son of Blazing Sword's Eliwood. Wait are you sure? I honestly feel that we got the first and third Fire Emblems, and the second (Blazing Sword) is the one which wasn't localized. Blazing Sword is the game that is simply called Fire Emblem outside of Japan. The first GBA Fire Emblem was not localized and it's called Sword of Seals. However translation groups exist for other franchises too like Front Mission and Fire Emblem.Īs for Terrainigma, that game released in UK, no reason not to localize it here. You can download Mother 3 in english as a ROM, but unless you ship over the Japanese version this would be illegal. This game was so demanded, that a group of regular people fluent in Japanese and English actually went and translated the game. Mother 3 was also the most requested game to be localized. Fire Emblem games sell just as well in Americas as they do Japan. I understand NES and SNES Fire Emblem games no being localized, but there was no reason for the 3rd GBA installment to no be loacalized (Blazing Sword), and the second DS remake (Mystery of the Emblem). My vote is Terrainigma for SNES, the Gameboy Wars series, the Fire Emblem Series, Front Mission 2089 for DS and Mother 3. Outside of the current generations, which games do you wish NOA brought overseas to the Americas region? If you wish to mention current generation games, feel free, but lets keep the topic on hand. Nintendo of America has a history of not localizing many great Japanese games. ![]()
